Lots of sport. Lots of health. Lots of motivational stuff. That's how Craig introduces the show at least!
But it turns out he was right. Not just AFL but NRL this weekend - because the Storm's winning streak has been broken! Also post workout soreness: how do you relieve those screaming muscles?
And today's guest: Olympic weightlifterDeborah Acason.
Formerly Deborah Lovely, she found her love for weightlifting at just 12 years of age, while lifting logs to build treehouses with all the boys. She's taken a journey of multi talents to get to weightlifting though: playing rugby for Queensland, competing on the track and field, and even cycling. How did she get from there, to weightlifting??
Also: are our eyes really under assault from our lifestyle? And our new London Olympic report: with some fascinating gold medal facts.
Your calls: on weird phobias - things that scare you, that don't scare normal people. And catastrophic wedding stories... involving super hot days, fire sprinklers and dogs.
Is Jane's top pink or purple? A wedge has been driven between the Grandstanders: over the colour of said top. Pink or purple - it's split the hostsand the LightFM office (well, the Saturday office contingent anyway). You be the judge!
Will Mick Malthouse take a year off? And, Craig comes up with more nicknames for Jane "javelin with ears" O'Brien.
That and more... in the Grandstanders this week!

The Grandstanders Podcast - 20th August 2011
Welcome back to the Grandstanders! This is the show where Craig Harper and Jane O'Brien unravel the secrets of the health and fitness world. Spring is in the air and the Grandstanders are on a roll!
Special guest Jacqui Louder - Australia's premier sports psychologist, talks to Craig and Jane about some of Craig's so-called issues! Footy as usual to top the list of topics.
Hear what the Grandstanders have to say about skinny models. Also listen to Jaqui Louder as she talks about how Tiger Woods and Rodney Eade might be able to come back!
Jaqui Louder has been a practicing psychologist for eleven years, specialising in eating disorders, athletic transitions (retirement / entry into elite sport / etc), performing arts and children’s sport. Jacqui has had diverse range of experiences working as a psychologist with athletes and teams at the elite level which has included AFL football, National League netball and at World University, Commonwealth and Olympic Games.
According to Jaqui, Tiger Woods went from chocolates to boiled lollies because of physical and psychological factors. Rodney Eade is also under the radar after stepping down as coach of the Western Bulldogs. Also hear what she has to say about home ground advantage.
Craig and Jane also had a couple of un-expected guests in the studio. Craig is sent back into a flash back of his life when he sees the guests. Also Craig vents his feelings about skinny skinny models. Does Jane think Craig can become a skinny model? Is it healthy for girls to become more skinny? The Grandstanders try to answer these questions.
Also on the show - Jane's attempt to get Craig to hook up (with a girl of-course!), nutrition, cereals and this weeks footy tippings with one of our listeners!
Don't forget to catch the Grandstanders next Saturday from 8am!

The Grandstanders Podcast - 13th August 2011
This week in the studio, we talk over-achieving, over-thinking and over-eating!
Pint-sized, overachiever Alessandra Campisi manages to squeeze in a few sleepovers in between training and winning medals at the Karate Commonwealth Games. The photo on the right made Craig scream and run the other way - listen for an explanation of what is happening!
Are you an over-thinker? Do you wear your stress badly......and easily get sick? Craig and Jane explain the ins and outs of Psycho Neuro Immunology (PNI) - the scientific name for the idea that your emotional responses are linked to your physiology. Listen for practicle ideas on how to make the best use of your emotional energy.
On the question of over-eating, does eating foods that have a higher air content help control how much you eat?
Finally, talking footy: celebrity tipster Russell (one of our listeners of course!) gives us his best picks for the week.
